The cost of the program is $100 for 12 months access.
There are no other hidden or extra costs.

If you sign up for the 12-month plan partway through the year, your subscription will start from the month you join.
Your 12-month subscription will run for 12 months from your sign-up date.
While they are not currently shown on the website, we will release additional, new editions for 2026.

If you choose to cancel your 12-month subscription early, please note that we do not offer refunds for the remaining months.
You'll still have access to the program until the end of your 12-month period, after which your subscription will end.

No, unfortunately we do not offer the option to pause subscriptions.

Each subscription is for one family, so please keep your access to the program just for your immediate family.
If you know other families who would love to get grubby with us, we'd be thrilled if you could invite them to subscribe separately!

Not at all! We like to keep it simple. Most of the materials you'll need for activities are everyday items you likely already have at home, or things you can easily find in nature (think sticks, leaves, and rocks!).
If you would like to have a go at some of the bigger projects like starting a garden, compost, or worm farm, you may choose to buy some materials. But we encourage you to buy second hand … and reduce, reuse and recycle whenever you can!
If you would like to print the activity sheets, you will need access to a printer.

The amount of time you spend on the Get Grubby for Families Program depends on the activities you choose to do!
Most activities can be completed in 30-60 minutes, but if you're working on bigger projects like starting a worm farm or growing a garden, you might want to allocate a bit more time.
We recommend setting aside a couple of hours each month to explore, but you can easily break it up into smaller chunks that fit into your family's schedule.
Whether you're doing one activity a week or a fun nature adventure all in one day, you can enjoy the program at your own pace!
